Makes you go "hhhhhmmmmmm"

Here's something to ponder - what is one to do when one has to put one's self on movie probation?? I joined Netflix a couple of months ago and so far I have done nothing but pick crappy movies. The write up on all of them sounded good and they had good actors in them but I have yet to say "damn, that was a good movie". Perhaps I should just go back to reading books. Any suggestions???

I thought that one of the best things about net flicks was that you could get great older movies. I did a Hitchcock marathon. Then a Roman Polanski and Woody Allen fest (not realizing that I would later post this and it would seem I have a thing for directors who like very, very young girls). Then there were the french films. NO, I don't know why I am single. Point is you can have a cary grant veiwing or hugh grant for that matter, it seemed easier to me if I had a theme.

I have been operating on the "theme" method - it has been the "sucky movies" theme - I have some Betty Davis movies (Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte and What Ever Happened to Baby Jane) on my list now. I'll go thru the classic section and see what else I can find. Thanks for the suggestion, Snappy!
